She and her husband were co-owners of Gla-Tex Packing Company and Grace Creek Ranch where they raised Brangus
Cattle.
Mrs. Baird was a member of the First Christian Church of Longview, a volunteer at Good Shepherd Medical Center, a member of the African Violet Club, and a charter
member of the American Brangus Breeders Association.
Mrs. Baird was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale (Buster) Baird; grandson, Jimmy Louis Bryson; a sister and three brothers.
