Lorene and James Brisco were married June 19, 1981, in Harrison, AR where they lived all their married life. They enjoyed a wonderful, full, and unique life together for 33 years. Lorene was a proud member of Elmwood Baptist Church and loved God and her church with all her heart. Her family was her treasure, especially her grandchildren and her little dog, Troubles. She loved cooking homemade meals for her immediate family, and watching her grandchildren grow and mature. She loved to go for drives in the country and could spot a deer before anyone else.
Lorene is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Lewis and George Brown; and her sister, Judy Broyles.
She is survived by her husband, James Brisco, of the home; daughter Debbie Waters of Harrison; grandchildren, Shelby and CJ Waters of Harrison, her sister, Ethel Burrow of Liberty, MO; brother, Melvin Brown and wife, Hazel, of North Kansas City, MO; step-sister, Betty Walden of Raytown, MO; sisters-in-law, Geneva Brown of North Kansas City, MO; Jean Billups and husband, Ross, of Harrison, Joyce Rose and husband, Harvey, of Green Forest; and brother-in-law, Johnny Brisco and wife, Betty, of Lead Hill; as well as a many special nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins & friends.
Services will be Wednesday, February 19, at 2:00p.m. at Elmwood Baptist Church in Harrison, Arkansas. Pastor James Bryant will officiate the services. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at White Church Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas, with pallbearers being David Mitchell, Larry Keele, Barry Adams, Mark Wiggins, Ron Watkins, and Roy Lee Rose.
