Sina was the daughter of David Seitz and Sarah Whitener Seitz. Sina is listed in the "Birth and Baptismal Records of Zion Lutheran Church". Andrew Marcus' marriage record has him as Marcus A. Whitener son of Andrew and Sina Whitener. He married Emma Whitener Dec. 2, 1875 in Catawba Co., NC. They were married by Abel Whitener, J.P.
