Mr. Mangum was born in Fitzgerald the son of the late Dennis B. & Wilda Mae Handley Mangum. He was a member of the Rebecca Baptist Church and enjoyed playing music and being a member of Facebook. He served in the U. S. Navy for eleven years and was retired from Delphi Manufacturing of Fitzgerald.
Ronnie was a quality control supervisor at a local battery manufacturing plant. He was divorced.
Survivors include his sister Sylvia M. (Gary) Whittington, Monroe, Georgia and his nephews Christopher (Penny) B. Goodwin, Cullman, AL and Joseph D. Goodwin, Rebecca, Georgia and great nephews Curran, Dallas, & J. D. Goodwin Jr., Woodstock, Georgia and Todd & Victor Pigg, Cullman, AL and a Great Niece Loren Goodwin, Woodstock, Georgia.
The family will receive frieda Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Perry Funeral Chapel, McLendon at Murray Avenue, Ashburn, Georgia.
