The Simpson County native was an employee retired from Pet Milk Co. and a member of Salmons General Basptist Church.
He was a deacon and a member of Simpson Benevolent Lodge No. 177.
He was a son of the late Luther Dinwiddie and Lassie Dobbs Dinwiddie and the husband of the late Beulah Weir Dinwiddie.
Survivors include three sons, David Dinwiddie of Scottsville, and Jerry Dinwiddie and Henry Dinwiddie both of Franklin;
two daughters, Judy Flowers of Franklin and Dot Mullenax of Pittsboro, Ind.;
12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
