George C. Lemonds, son of Joseph H. & Mary C. (King) Lemonds. Married Mary Wesley Williams Oct. 16, 1867 in Henry Co., Tenn., They had 5 sons; Stanley C., Leander W., Thomas E., Joseph L. Harper M. to my knowledge.

There is an obituary in the Dunklin Democrat, 19 Jan 1912
It contains good information and one of the things it said was the following:
"Mr. Lemonds served in the Confederate Army in Co. F, 154th Tenn. and was a member of John P Taylor Camp, No. 792, United Confederate Veterans, at Kennett. He attended the last meeting, at Senath, though quite feeble."
