Irene Goulder (nee Levine) died on June 10 at her home in Beachwood at the age of 86.
Mrs. Goulder, a native of Cleveland, was a member of Fairmount Temple and the sisterhoods of both Fairmount Temple and The Temple. She was also a member of the Council of Jewish Women and B'nai B'rith.
Mrs. Goulder was a volunteer worker at Montefiore Home, Myers Apartments and Judson Park. She was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars. During both World War land II, Mrs. Goulder worked on many bond drives. She received awards as a blood donor for the American Red Cross. Mrs. Goulder was still bowling at the age of 80.
Her husband, Adolph (Putty), founder of Doan Electric Co., died in 1978. The couple had been married over 55 years.
She is survived by four sons: Morton of Hollis, N.H.; Edmund, Albert of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Herbert; three daughters; Rose Rubin, Elise Kirschenbaum and Serene Shaper; 29 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a brother.
