George Harold GIBSON, 70, died at his home in Providence at 10 a.m. Sunday. Survivors are the wife; four brothers, James Odie, Indianapolis, Ind., Beverly John, Hopkinsville, Roscoe G., of Madisonville, and Thomas G. Gibson, Providence; one sister, Mrs. Carolyn JOHNSON, Detroit, Mich.; a half-brother, W.F. Gibson, stationed on Guam; and one half-sister, Mrs. Mary WINEBERGER, Providence. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church in Corydon at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. D.P. ROYSTER officiating. Burial was in Gibson cemetery in Henderson County.
