May Ila Shinn was born July 18, 1873 at Pointville, NJ. She was a dressmaker. She moved to Princeton when her brother, Elmer J shinn went there to associate with George Worrell in the plumbing business. She lived with him and her sister, Anna Lydia at 264 Nassau St until Elmer's death. After that she and Anna moved to a house at 8 Princeton Ave. where she resided until her death. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Princeton. She was a lover of birds, trees and flowers. She was a godly woman. She died at Princeton June 22, 1961. Interred at Mt. Holly, NJ.
