Geraldine M. Ackley, 87, formerly of Central Square, died Monday at James Square Nursing Home, Syracuse.
A native of Watertown, Mrs. Ackley also lived several years in Syracuse and Tupper Lake and 17 years in Central Square before moving to the nursing home seven years ago. She retired as a secretary from the offices of Maurice Brown, Certified Public Account.
Surviving are a son, Robert of Chittenango; a sister, Beverly O'Connell of Mattydale; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
