A former Twin Valley resident, Gemelia (Millie) Severtson, 84, Ada died Wednesday Feb. 9 1983 at United Hospital, Grand Forks.
Services at Grace Lutheran Church, Ada with Rev. Daniel Larsen officiating.
Burial will be in Cormorant Lutheran Cemetery, Lake Park.
Born Oct. 2, 1889 at Emmetsburg IA, she was one of 4 childdren of Ole and Helga (Bergeland) Dale.
On April 2, 1919 she and Selmer Severtson were married in Lake Park. He died in 1964.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Gilbert (Helen) Bremer, Nashua, Mrs. Ruby Patzold, Pakistan and Mrs. Alvin (Stella) Vakoch, Ada, a son, Stan, Moorhead, 11 grandchildren and 7 great=grandchildren and a sister, Hattie Dale, Detroit Lakes.
Arrangements are with Fredrikson Funeral Home, Ada.
NOTE: Her obit says she was born in 1889 but if she was 84 years old, that doesn't come out right.
