Keith Bunch Sr.


Keith L. Bunch Sr., 77, of West Lafayette, died at 11:10 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. Keith was born January 7, 1935, in Attica, IN, the son of the late Wilmer Ray and Alice (Paul) Bunch Mullendore. His marriage was to M. Anne Zink on August 1, 1953, in Lafayette and she survives. Keith worked in the powerhouse department of Eli Lilly, Lafayette Labs, for 28 years before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and searching for Indian arrowheads to add to his large collection of arrowheads.


Surviving are his wife; five adult children; two brothers and 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his identical twin brother Kenneth, his brother Gail and four sisters: Charlotte Goetz, Wilma Depew, Pauline Sible and Deloris Price.


Keith was buried at the Rainsville Cemetery in Rainsville, Indiana. He was attended by a Marine Color Guard from Terre Haute, Indiana and a honor guard from the local American Legion Branch. He was interred with military honors due to his service during the Korean Conflict. A United States flag draped his coffin which was given to his only grandson.
