Mrs. Clara L. Seek, the second daughter of Chauncey and Eliza Cowell, was born in Holton, Kansas, May 18, 1869. All her childhood and girlhood was spent with her parents at their home, one half mile south of Holton. In her twenty second year she was united in marriage with Joseph Seek. One son, Chauncey, and two daughters, Anna and Fay, were born to this union .... Besides her three children, she leaves a mother and two sisters, the father and four sisters having preceded her to that better home .... united in Christian activity with the Presbyterian church ....

Mrs. Clara Seek, aged fifty-two years, died Tuesday, July 18, at her home 608 W. 4th street ....
Interment will be in the Holton cemetery.
