TONEY - Mrs. Maude S. McCown, 66, of Route 2, Toney, died Tuesday at Medical Center Hospital. The funeral (will) be Thursday at 10 am. at the Rainey Funeral Home chapel in Ardmore, Tenn., with the rev. Arnie Eliff and the rev Aubie Michael officiating.

Burial will be in the Gatlin Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Freeman of Rialto, Calif., and Miss Karen McCown of Huntsville; six sons, Kenneth McCown and Richard McCown, both of Ardmore; Don McCown of Marietta, Ga.; Terrell McCown of Houston, Texas; Jerry McCown of Huntsville and Paul McCown of Nashville; three sisters, Mrs Beatrice BeMott and Mrs. Rebecca Phillips, both of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Ruth Whitt of Hernando, Miss; two brothers, Bill Smith of Decatur and Herman Smith of Oceanside, Calif.; and 20 grandchildren.
