MORRISDALE — A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Palestine United Methodist Church, Morrisdale RR, for Nancy J. Hubler, 65, of Morrisdale RR, who died at her residence on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at 8:30 a.m.The Rev. Cheryl Houser will officiate. Interment will be at Palestine United Methodist Cemetery, Morrisdale.There will be no public visitation.Born March 10, 1937, in Fernwood, she was a daughter of Leonard and Leona (Dumez) Zink.Mrs. Hubler was Protestant by faith. She was a homemaker. Earlier in her life, she had worked at the former General Cigar Co. in Philipsburg and at the former Quehanna Meat Products in Morrisdale.On April 1, 1957, she wed Thomas G. Hubler, who preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 2000.She is survived by three daughters, Judith Cartwright and her husband, Dan, of Morrisdale RR, Bonnie Wright and her husband, Ken, of Wattsburg and Tammy Bainey of Wheeling, W.Va.; a son, Thomas Hubler and his wife, Cathy, of Morrisdale RR; 12 grandchildren, among them Mitchell Hubler of Morrisdale RR, whom she raised; and six great-grandchildren.Also surviving are two sisters, Kathie Holloway of Columbus, Ohio, and Lois Folmar of State College; and three brothers, Larry Zink of Mesa, Ariz., Robert Zink of Logan, Ohio, and Jerome Zink of Herkimer, N.Y. Mrs. Hubler was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Carolyn Coudriet and Lorna Love; and a brother, Bill.Strange and Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, is in charge of the arrangements.
Surviving are Children: Judith Cartwright, Thomas Hubler, Tammy Baney, Bonnie Wright, 12 Grandchildren & 5 Great-Grandchildren
