MRS OLINDA BOUDRIE FOUND DEAD IN ISLAND COTTAGE ON POSEY LAKE NEAR HUDSON, MICHIGAN
Frantic actions of a 3 year old granddaughter led to the discovery of the body of Mrs. Olinda Bourdie, 919 Colista Street, Saturday in the Boudrie Cottage on an island in Posey Lake, 5 miles north of Hudson Michigan. Although there are several cottages on the island, the woman and the girl had been there by themselves several days. Corner Paul Mott of Adrian, Michigan announced Mrs. Boudrie died of natural causes sometime Friday night. She was 69. Persons on the mainland declared they saw the girl, Joan Marie Boudrie, running about the island Saturday morning, but paid no attention to her until her actions continued in the afternoon. "My grandmother won't speak to me anymore". The girl told a man who rowed to the island. Mrs. Boudrie was found dead in the cottage.
The child's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Boudrie, were in Toledo leaving her in the care of her grandmother.
