She was born in Clay County, a daughter of the late Morris Elmer and Ruthie Belle Humphrey Sharp. She was a homemaker and a Christian.
She is survived by two sons, Fenton Kendall of Spencer and Karl Kendall of Byesville, Ohio; five daughters, Freda DePue, Iris Greathouse, Loretta Griffin, Naomi Griffin and Rose Long, all of Spencer; all of Spencer; one half-sister Susie Hess of Mt. Lookout; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Kendall; one daughter Dana Tolley; and one half-brother, Clyde Arthur.
Service was Tuesday November 4, 2003 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home with Rev. John W. Bowen, officiating. Burial was at Morford Cemetery, Spencer. Viewing was Monday November 3, 2003 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer.
