Spouse: Maria Marcelina (Valarida) Minchey. Both laid to rest behind their cabin at Rancho Canada (Dixon Apple Orchard), North Cochiti Pueblo, Sandoval Co. New Mexico.(Burial at Home Certificate). Ben was said to have one of the first portable wood mills in the region. If you follow his family path and that of his sons and daughters you can see how they integrated their Pioneer life Styles. Originating in Utah, making their way south into South Eastern Arizona, and the New Mexico Territory. To their final resting place near Bland New Mexico where New Mexico Timber Company, Santa Fe Rail Road, Sandoval County Roads Departments, Military Service Members, Educators and Community Leaders eventually absorbed the Minchey contributions into the overall New Mexico heritage of today.
