Nellie S. Pullen was born to Charles M. Pullen and Josephine D. Moore all of them from Dexter, Me. She married her first husband George Frank Gordon of Dexter, Me. on 15 Dec.1883 at the age of 16. Nellie and George Frank had 6 children together on their farm at Dexter, Me.,4 of whom had lived to move to California. Nellie remarried Dec.26,1920 to Adelbert L. Nutter a neighbor in Dexter, Me. and then moved to California to be near her children. She and Dell ended up in Waterford, California living in a cottage on the farm land owned by her son Ralph. This is the home in which she was living and where she died.
