Mrs. Kaipi had made her home in the Longview-Kelso area for the past 38 years, coming from Cathlamet. She was a homemaker and member of the Longview-Kelso Women's Bowling Association, Cowlitz Valley Moose and Longview Eagles. She was also a member and past president of Longview Ladies of Elks and a volunteer at St. John's Medical Centery.
She is survived by her husband, O. W. "Kaip" Kaipi, a son and daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dahl's Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral home. Services will conclude at the chapel and private entombment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Cathlamet.
