Funeral services were held today for Barbara Mazurek Siepierski, 87, of 76 Maple St., Holyoke, who died on Monday in Holyoke Hospital. She was the widow of Albert Siepierski, former owner of the Dwight Street Market, who died, March 12, 1983.
She was born in Poland, September 26, 1895, daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Mazurek, and moved to Holyoke in 1915.
Mrs. Siepierski was a communicant of Mater Dolorosa Church, and member of its St. Ann's Society, Polish National Alliance Group 141, and Polish National Union of America Group 424.
She leaves a son, William, and a daughter, Jane Harris, both of South Hadley, MA, a sister; Mary Rodak of Holyoke; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a niece and a newphew.
The funeral was this morning from Czelusnial Funeral Home, 145 Maple St., followed by the liturgy of Christian burial in Mater Dolorosa Church. Burial was in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley, MA.
