He worked as a roofer and factory worker in the Milwaukee and Pound area. In 1975 he started his own roofing and siding business known as D&R Roofing. He turned the business over to his son in 1994 and moved to Iron River, MI.
In 1961 Donald married Frances Crici of Milwaukee.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Frances;
three sons: Ferris, Iron River, MI; William (Lori) Bieber, Amberg, WI; Richard (Heidi) Bieber, Oak Creek, WI;
four daughters: Debra Baginski, Milwaukee, WI; Shana (Aaron) Howarth, Middle Inlet, WI; Donna Fuller, Crivitz, WI and Megan Bieber, Wausaukee, WI;
fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Two sisters: Corolla (Jerry) Hunt, Oregon and Carol Anderson, Milwaukee, WI.
One sister-in-law Jane Petchak, Coleman, WI.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Elizabeth.
Private services were held at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman.
