Dorothy Lorene "Granny" Shaw of Grandview passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Grandview. She was born on August 10, 1920 in Creta, Oklahoma to Frank and Della Sims. Dorothy married James Clinton Shaw on January 20, 1939 in Johnson County. She is survived by her two daughters, Wannie Schneck of Grandview and Ethelda Shaw of Keene; three sons, James Thomas Shaw and wife Chris of Willington, CA, Roy Shaw and wife Brenda of Grandview, and Lee Shaw and wife Pam of Alvarado; two sisters, Rose gray of Arizona and Thelma Allen of Haltom City; one brother, Marion Sims and wife Barbara of Washington; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clinton Shaw; granddaughter, Tawnya Shaw; and great-grandson, Chad Garrett. Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Pleasant Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home in Grandview.
