Born June 7, 1917, in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of F. Clyde and Helen E. (White) Young.
A retired secretary, she had worked at Westinghouse in Pittsburgh and at Indiana University. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Michael of West Lafayette and Paul Michael of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one daughter, Miriam Michael of Bloomington; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Michael; one sister, Elinor Roberts; and one brother, Robert Young.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at United Presbyterian Church in Bloomington with the Rev. David Bremer officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
Day Mortuary in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
