Marguerite is the daughter of Godgaud/Godefroy Abraham and Denise Fleury. She was christened on 5 January 1637, in St-Eustache, Paris, France. Her family lived on Rue de la Tonnellerie in Paris, which used to run between Rue St-Honoré and La Pointe St- Eustache. The street was removed during the construction of the Forum des Halles.

Marguerite came to Quebec as a Filles du Roi, on the ship "Le Saint-Jean-Baptiste, de Dieppe", arriving on 18 June 1665. She signed a marriage contract with (1) Ozanie-Joseph Nadeau dit Lavigne on 6 November 1665, in Quebec. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):
1) Marie (1667-1678)
2) Jean-Baptiste (1669-1735) md Anne LaCasse
3) Adrien (1672-1672)
4 Denis (1673-1759) md (a) Marie-Charlotte LaCasse and (b) Elisabeth Roy
5) Catherine (1677-1746) md Jean Roy

She married (2) Guillaume Chartier on 31 January 1678, In Sainte-Famille, L'Ile d'Orleans.

She was alive at her son Denis' wedding in November 1695, so she died sometime after that.

Please note that I've linked her to parents with burials unknown, because her father's probate record proves they were still living in the St-Eustache Parish of Paris at the time of their deaths. Her mother remarried and continued to lived there after her father's death. I have submitted edits to add their death places.
