Leslie P. Chupp, 83, of Bloomington, died Wednesday at Bloomington Convalescent Center.

Born July 10, 1914, in Surrey, he was the son of Nathan and Pearl (Parks) Chupp. He was retired from General Motors Truck & Bus Division in Indianapolis and attended Bloomington Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife, Claire (Feeman) Chupp; three sons, James Richard Chupp of Greenwood, John Irwin Chupp of Indianapolis and Phillip David Chupp of Bloomington; one daughter, Lesley Claire Sexton Anderson of Smithville; one sister, Carol Kreager of Spencer; three brothers, Nathan Chupp of Whitestown, Leland Chupp of Lafayette and Richard Chupp of Danville; 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Leslie Paul Chupp; one sister, Letha Moeller; one brother, Emerson Chupp; and one grandson.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville with Pastor Kim Norris officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Friends may call 2-9 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
