JNO. BENNINGFIELD, AGE 76 DIES NEAR CLARKSVILLE
Jno. W. Benningfield, age 76 years, died at the home of his son, J.G. Benningfield, who resides near Clarksville, Texas, Wednesday, August 27, with Brights disease. Mr. Benningfield was born in Red River county, Texas, in 1854. He had lived at Glover for several years, but was carried to the home of his son two weeks ago.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, Mrs. Susie Childs and Mrs. Amanda Story, all of Glover, and one son, J.G. Benningfield, of Clarksville, Tex.
The remains were carried to Glover, where funeral services were held at the church, conducted by Rev. S.J. McCarrel, Thursday, and interment was had in the Merry cemetery.
