Abraham Isaac Clark was born April 12, 1978 in Joplin, MO.

He passed February 5, 2014 at KU Med Center, Kansas City, KS after a brief illness, with his family at his side.

Abraham was a beloved son, father, grandson, brother, nephew and friend.

He is survived by his children, Julian, Ethan and Devon, his mother, Cathy Murry and her husband, John Murry, Baxter Springs, KS, his father, Willis Clark, Jr., and his wife Pat, Baxter Springs, his brother, Matthew Clark, Baxter Springs, his sister, Emily Hymer, Frontenac, KS, his girlfriend, Chevelle Hale, Galena, KS, his grandfather, John Gibbins, Van Buren, AR, and his grandmothers June Clark and Rose Bohannon of Baxter Springs, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and other extended family and friends.

Abraham graduated high school in Miami OK, 1997. He studied art at NEO in Miami.

He was a talented artist and professional chef, having worked at the Red Onion Café and Wilder's in Joplin and at Shebang's in Monkey Island, OK.

To know Abe was to love him. He overcame many challenges in his life and had spent the last few years in much-deserved health and happiness. He will be missed every day by those who loved him.

Services are through Derfelt's Baxter Chapel.

Visitation is Sunday, February 9 at 2pm at Derfelt's Baxter Chapel.

Graveside services are Monday, February 10 at 2pm, Oak Hill Cemetery, Galena, KS.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
