Mrs. Mary Catherine Barclay Agnew was born in Franklin County, Pa. Nov 11, 1838 and passed to her reward Tuesday, June 6th, 1911 at the ripe age of 72 years, 6 months and 25 days. Of her father's family consisting of six children, but
three remain on this earthly habitation.
She was united in marriage to Mr. William S. Agnew in Adair County, Iowa on the 24th of Jan. 1861, living in Iowa until 1879, when the family came to Nebraska.
To this union were born six children, three of which gave up life long ago, leaving three still on Time's shore, Arthur C. of Thomas Co. Kan, Mata B. Lumry of Omaha and John S. Agnew of Belgrade.....
...buried at Fullerton cemetery. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church, her former pastor, the Rev. William H. Cooper preaching the funeral sermon.
