Ira Aydelott LEAGUE CITY - Ira G. Aydelott, 69, died Tuesday at Veterans Hospital in Houston. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Jack Rowe Funeral Home in League City, the Rev. Vernon L. Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City. Mr. Aydelott was born Feb. 9, 1916 in Waxahachie, Texas, He lived in League City five years. He was a member of Carpenters Local 1226 of Pasadena, a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy Seabees, and a former longtime resident of Pasadena. Survivors include two sons, George Aydelott of Kingwood and Gerald Aydelott of Texas City; a daughter, Patricia Corder of League City; two brothers, Andy Aydelott of Dallas and Raymond Aydelott of Lufkin; a sister, Alice Cook of Royce City, Texas; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Visitors may call after 1 p.m today.
