Ahrend Carl Ahrendsen, 70, of Puyallup passed away peacefully at home Tues., July 20, 1999. He was born March 9, 1929 in Denver CO., to Ahrend C. and Ollie Ahrendsen. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea having served with the US Marine Corps. He worked as a Contractor/Builder and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife Edna Marie Davis; his children, Dan Ahrendsen of Ashford, Carl Ahrendsen of Tacoma, Linda Ketter of Roy, Julie Ahrendsen of Puyallup; 10 grandchildren, Carli Ahrendsen, Sandra Young, Michael A. Saylor, Jesse, Haley, Maleahia, Te'Anna, Tasha and Tiffany, 2 great grandchildren, Derrick and Hunter Young. He was the most loving, kind husband, father and grandfather a family could have been blessed with. Funeral serivces will be held Friday, July 23, 1999 at 12:00 p.m. at South Hill 1st Ward LDS Stake Center, 13420 94th Ave. E., Puyallup. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 am. until service time. Fir Lane Funeral Home.
