Texas Deaths, 1890-1976 - John Beason • 28 Feb 1920 • Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas, United States • Male - Widowed - Birth Year (Estimated): 1860, Alabama - Cause of Death: Found dead in bed - Burial: 08 March 1920, Mount Olivet
Wife: Willie Carolyn Hazelwood
Daughter: Caroline (Callie) Beason (married Louis Barthol De Goey Jr & William Delone Bunt
NOTE: I am unsure of the death date of 28 February 1920, but then again, it could be. He did pass away before 1920 because his wife is listed as widowed per the Alabama 1920 census. But the 1920 census was taken on the 15 January of 1920. That is a month before John's passing. Then there is a death certificate (included above) of a John Beason, born 1860 who passed away on 28 Feb 1920. It states he was a widow and also states he was found dead in bed. So, guessing here, John and Willie must have been divorced because she is living in Alabama in 1920. And also guessing that John Beason was found dead in bed, there really is no telling how long he was deceased before he was found. Hope all this makes some kind of sense. Still guessing here that no one knew his birth year but came pretty close as they could. I have put in a photo edit so maybe we can get some kind of closure.
