Mrs. Thelma McLeod, age 89, Vidalia, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, in the Heartland Health Care of Orange Park, Florida, after an extended illness.
She was a native of Treutlen County and had resided most of her life in Vidalia. She was a homemaker and a member of the Smith Street Baptist Church of Vidalia.
Survivors include one son, Billy McLeod, Jacksonville, Florida; one sister, Merle Humphrey, Vidalia; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, March 15, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Vidalia with Rev. Jimmy Smith officiating. Interment followed.
Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service of Vidalia was in charge of the arrangements.
