Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Foley Funeral Home for Mrs. Mary Behmer, 78, with the Rev. B. H. Romanowski officiating.
Burial was in Pleasant View cemetery at Hartley.
Mrs. Mary Wieben Behmer was born in Schleswig, Germany, January 18, 1871, and came to America at the age of 14 years.
She was united in marriage to Carl Behmer, December 22, 1888, at Dysart, Iowa, and moved to a farm near Hartley in 1912.
Mr. Behmer died on October 19, 1937.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Emma Struckman of Hartley, Mrs. Anna Hartmann and Mrs. Katherine Jones of Omaha and one son, Pete Behmer also of Omaha. There are also two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
