Monday May 24, 2010 at his home. He was born on September 22, 1947
in Shelbyville, TN, the son of Frank James Sr. and Frances (Williams)
Jeffries. His early life and schooling were in Chicago. On August
26, 1980 he married Patricia Hamann in Chicago. Frank was an
engineer for Proctor & Gamble in Chicago and owned and operated
Jeff's Place Tavern in Chicago before moving to Minocqua in 1993
where he owned and operated Parkway Restaurant. He then owned and
operated Carl's Place in Butternut with son. He was a veteran of the
United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War and was a member of
the American Legion and VFW Posts.
