Dixie L Ambrosio
Dixie was born Nov, 20, 1936 in Franklin MN and went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2006. Known to most as Grandma, she will be remembered as a gentle spirit who showered her family with unconditional love and support. Dixie touched the life of everyone she met with her warm smile and infectious laugh. Preceded in death by her husband Donald, she leaves behind to cherish her memory children Toni, Cathy, Dino and Kim along with 9 grandchildren Robert, Tammy, Tanya, Melissa, Misty, Michelle, Donny, Cody, and Andrew as well as 5 treasured great grandchildren Tyler, Alexandria, Michael, Christian and Olivia, other loving family members and special friends. A Rosary will be held at Fir Lane Funeral Home, Spanaway, on Sunday March 12 at 7:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Heaven on Monday morning, March 13, 2006 at 10:00 AM. The family would like to thank all who helped care for Dixie as she fought her battle against cancer. Special thanks to Sheryl and Robin. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Franciscan Hospice in Dixie’s name.
