Edna A. Black, 79, of Hinesville, died July 7, 2012, at Liberty Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Jamaica and lived in Hinesville for 11 years. She was a member of Crossroads Church in Hinesville. She worked in retail sales and retired from McCrory's in New York.
She is survived by her husband Clifford G. Black of Hinesville; two sons, Carlton Black of Kissimmee, Fla., and Barrington Black of Jamaica; a daughter Claudette Carrington of Brooklyn, N.Y.; five brothers, Nevelle Wade, Arthur Wade, Barrington Livingston, Dervin Livingston and Gladstone Wade; three sisters, Violet Hillmon, Adassa Wade, and Anita Wade; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Crossroads Church in Hinesville. Her funeral will follow at 2:30 p.m. with burial at Faith Memorial Garden.
