Surviving: sons, Curtis G. and Gene F., both of Lindside; brother, Howard T. Underwood of Dublin, Va.; sister, Florence Underwood Helm of Buchanan, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews..

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, with the Rev. Michael Biggs officiating. Burial will be in Chambers Cemetery, Lindside. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. (Appeared in The Charleston Gazette.)
