Layton, Utah - Dolores May Mitchell Borgesen, age 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt; returned to the open arms of her Father in Heaven and the many family members who have gone before her on February 1, 2014. She was born on January 28, 1930 in Shelley, ID to Emmett and Mary Beth Hardcastle Mitchell, she was the oldest of 11 children. She met her eternal love Bill at her birth and married him at the age of 16 in Phillipsburg, Montana. They were later sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they lived in many places before finally making their home in Layton in 1969. She held many church callings both on a ward and stake level. She taught Resource at Vae View Elementary and was also vice president of the PTA. She taught Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, worked at three local cafes, the school lunch program, Charlie's Ceramics and she was the manager for Shaws Trailer Park. She loved to crochet for people and donated many baby hats, booties, and bibs for Davis and Weber Hospitals. She is survived by her husband and seven children; William David (Angie) Borgesen, Sharon RaNae (Don) Hill, Jeffery Lynn Borgesen, Ida Marie Chairez, Karen LaRue (Major) King, Mary Cathrine (Kenneth) Eddards, Cheryl Elizabeth (Bobby) Myers; 28 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Donna Mae; five brothers; one grandson; and three great grandchildren.

Interment will be at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd, Ogden, Utah.
