WALNUT COVE- Patricia Jane Davis Arrington, 77, died Sunday night, February 2, 2014 at her home.
She was born June 26, 1936 in Forsyth County to Walter Lee and Mattie Hazel McGee Davis.
She retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company with 33 years of service. Patricia loved to play Rook and read books written by Nora Roberts. She also loved puzzles, flower gardening, cooking, Elvis Presley, Nascar driver, Bill Elliott and flat footing to blue grass music. Patricia was a member of Dennis Baptist Church.
A 1:00 pm funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Burroughs Chapel with Rev. Brian Taylor officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Walkertown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Arrington..
She is survived by 3 children, Wayne Arrington and Staci of Walnut Cove, Sherry Huepper and husband Greg of Concord and Terry Arrington; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 1 sister, Ivy Davis Jones of Walnut Cove and 3 brothers, John Davis, Kenneth Davis and Doug Davis, all of Walnut Cove.
