Mrs. Emaline Climer, widow of the late J. T. Climer, died at the county home Thursday, March 31, aged 61 years, 3 months and 23 days. She had been ailing for three years but was bedfast for only two days. Dropsy was the cause of death.

Emaline Roberts was born in Ohio, December 8, 1865, was there married to James T. Climer, and they came to this vicinity 37 years ago. To the union three children were born, all of whom survive theri parents. They are: Mrs. Jos. McGee, of Wilcox; Clovis, of Wythe, and Mrs. James Summers, of Lincoln, Ill.

The funeral was Saturday, Rev. E. E. Mehl officiating. Interment in Oakland cemetery beside the remains of the deceased's husband.
