Elwood Jones, age 81, of Alabaster passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Alabaster. He is survived by a sister, Billie Jane Manche, of Mobile, a niece and nephew, Judy Wagner and Jack Manche, both of Mobile, long-time companion, Sharron Gaut, seven great nieces and nephews, thirteen great-great nieces and nephews, and his dog, Trouble. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a retiree of ABC Rail. Visitation for Mr. Jones will be on Tuesday, February 4, from 11–12 P M, followed by a graveside service at 12:45 P M at Nabors Cemetery in Saginaw. Services to be officiated by Bro. Tom Hammett.
