John W. Caple, 86, 412 N. School St., died Thursday in a local hospital following a long illness.
A native of Nevada, he has lived in Lodi for 75 years.
Before retirement, he worked for P.G. & E for more than 30 years.
He was a member of P.S.E.A. and the Faith Tabernacle Church.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Caple of Lodi; his son; his daughter; his brother; his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
