Bobby Jack Speece, 90, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 2:40 PM on Saturday, February 01, 2014 at IU Health Blackford Hospital in Hartford City, IN.

He was born on Friday, January 18, 1924, in Wells County, IN. He married Phyllis Murphy on Friday, October 27, 1950 in Jay County, IN.

Jack attended Chester Center High School. He previously worked at Crankshaw Chevrolet in Montpelier and he retired after 40 years of service from Overhead Door Corporation in Hartford City. Jack enjoyed working and spending his weekends away from home with his wife. He also enjoyed roller skating. He was known for being the "Jack of all trades" around town and will be missed by all. Jack attended the Old Country Church in Hartford City and formerly attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Montpelier.

A service to celebrate Jack's life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 05, 2014 with Pastor Steve Garrett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
