Shirley Ann Barbre Tucker, 77 died on January 31, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Southside Baptist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Pastor Wayne Sanmann will be officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on April 13, 1936 to George Washington Hensley and Beula Luther Hensley. She attended school in Wewoka. On August 15, 1956 she married Eddie Barbre in Cromwell, Oklahoma. After Eddie's passing, Shirley married Billy Bob Tucker in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Shirley was an Administrative Assistant by profession and a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and animal lover to a fault. She loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Eddie Barbre; son, Michael Barbre and four brothers; George, Noble, Bill and Lin Hensley.
She is survived by her two daughters; LuAnn Bruneau of Owasso, Darla Hackett and husband John of Owasso. Her three step children Ann Wilkinson of Tulsa, LaDonna Fuchs of Glencoe, Stan Tucker and his partner Michael McDermott of Fort Worth, Texas. Grandchildren include Whitney Bruneau and Clarke Bruneau, Maddie Hackett and Johnny Hackett and 8 step grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren. One brother, Robert Hensley of Wewoka and one sister Juanita Summers of Collinsville, Oklahoma.
