Katherine E. Aslin, 81, of 233 W. Margaret St., Pasco, died Friday at her home. Born in Medina. N. D, Mrs. Aslin came to Pasco in 1925, moved to Pullman, and then moved back to Pasco in 1943. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Pasco Business and Professional Women's Evening Group, Senior Citizens, and the Christian Women's Fellowship. She was survived by daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Allert, Ritzville, Mrs. Lucille Frederick of La Grande; sisters Mrs. Jane Gust of Mt. Horeb, Wis, Mrs. Emma Gust of Madison, Wis, Mrs. Euell Tibbetts, Spokane, Mrs. Edith Presswell, Pasco; brothers, John Klundt, Pasco, Jacob Klundt, Boise; and step-son Kip Aslin, Washougal; eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Pasco, with Rev. Adrian Burd officiating. Internment will be in the Desert Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Kennewick. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 16th and Marie Streets. Friends may call between 1-5 p.m. Sunday. TRI-CITY HERALD, 30 May 1978.
