Chester B. Keathley, age 75 passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at his home in the Petros Joyner Community. H was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Oliver Springs, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years; Exie Crowe Keathley, Parents; Boyd and Flora Keathley, Brothers; Leonard Keathley, Charles and Larry Thomas Keathley, Sisters: Imogene Anderson, Dorothy Stone, Margaret O'Neil, Nina Phillips.

He is survived by Children: Brenda and Robert Shirks, GA, Rita Phillips, Wartburg, Betty and Tim Carpenter, Wartburg, (Joe) Chester B. Keathley Jr. and Lorna Keathley of Maryville

Upon his flight to Heaven God granted him a new great grand-daughter: Kennedy C. Rae Adkins born February 2, 2014.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00PM with Pastor David Keathley officiating. Graveside Services will be Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00PM in the Estes Cemetery, Coalfield.
