David Snook, 17, of Charles City, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, at his residence.

David Michael Snook was born Dec. 13, 1987, in Mason City, the son of Michael and Sandra (Wilson) Snook. He was a student at Carrie Lane High School and was employed at Sunnyside Memory Gardens rural Charles City. David enjoyed listening to music, playing basketball and video games on his X box, watching the Minnesota Vikings lose with his father, and playing with his cat, Dewey. He especially enjoyed spending time with Kelsi Patten, and their daughter, Kaylin.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Sandra Snook of Charles City; special friend, Kelsi Patten and their daughter, Kaylin Renee; a sister, Jennifer Snook of Charles City; a brother, Jason Wilson of Charles City; paternal grandmother, Janice Snook of Mason City; maternal grandmother, Karen Uker of Charles City; maternal great-grandmothers, Ardell Sullivan and Doris Wilson both of Charles City; several aunts and uncles, Darin (Chris) Wilson of Clear Lake, Cheryl Zeien and her fiance Brian Ziesman both of Mason City, Patty (Bob) Goll of Ankeny, Jerry (Viki) Tollefson of Mason City, and Kim (Randy) Ellman of Rudd; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dustin "Dutt" Wilson on June 26, 2003; his paternal grandfather, David Snook on May 3, 2004; and maternal grandfather, Delmar Wilson.
