Funeral services for Katie Slay, 86, of Houston will be held on Monday, December 27, 2004 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Monsignor David Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Sullivan, Thomas Sullivan, William Hudson, Matthew Hudson, Patti Sullivan, and Lisa Hudson.
Mrs. Slay was born on June 16, 1918 in LaPorte, Texas and passed away on December 22, 2004 in Houston, Texas. Her beloved husband, Bishop Slay, preceded her in death. She is survived by her nephews, William Hudson of Cypress, William W. Sullivan of Navasota, Thomas H. Sullivan of Tomball, Michael B. Baker of Cleveland, Joseph A. Slay of Shreveport, Louisiana, and William D. Slay of Nacogdoches; and niece, Patti Sullivan of San Leon.
