Beverly Jean Palmer Stromberg, 68, died November 18, 2005 after battling the effects of diabetes more than 45 years. She asked us not to be sad for her, but instead think of the grand reunion she is having with her family.
Bev was born of goodly parents, James Carlile Palmer and Rachel Amelia Smith Palmer March 23, 1937 in Grantsville, Utah. She was blessed with three brothers, Kenneth, Jerrald and Bruce who loved and watched over her.
She married her high school sweetheart, Charles "Chick" Stromberg February 12, 1947 and was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and her strong testimony helped her in days of trials and sorrow. She was a gifted teacher and artist and used her talents in many church callings.
She leaves behind her wonderful husband, Chick; four children, Charles Ronald (Helen) Stromberg, Bountiful, Carla Jean (Jerry) Wickham, Grantsville, Bryce J. (Terri) Stromberg, Lompoc, California, Jolene (Greg) Bluck, West Jordan; her foster children, Dean (Ferma) Howard, Florese Butler, Doreen Howard all of Arizona; brothers, Jerrald (Merle) Palmer, Brigham City, Bruce (Shirley) Palmer, Kaysville; sister-in-law, Bernice Palmer, Tooele; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 16 foster grandchildren.
